Google Adsense is a way to help you generate income from your website. Depending on what type of business you have, placing ads for other businesses might be a great way to make a sale even though the visitor can not actually use YOUR service. Let's say you have a local restaurant. People from outside the area more than likely will not make reservations , but if you have adsense ads on your site they will see possibilities more relative to their area. By the visitors clicking on that ad you have made a sale without having to do anything but be the referrer. If a local visitor comes to your site they may see other options of places to go, but if they were not committed to going to your restaurant you still make the sale by showing the ad and generating the traffic. This is an easy way to supplement costs of having a website and I defintely encourage some type of ad placement whether it is for a friend's business or pulling ads from Google. |
